The Honeymoon (G-rated, of course)

We had so much fun. And we got to relax, which was something we hadn't done in the 6 months of planning. Sleep was especially delicious. Zoot's loved the snorkeling; I loved reading on the beach. My favorite day, suprisingly enough, was kayaking on the Wailua River, hiking to the "Not-So-Secret Falls" and laughing at all the wild chicken running around.

I must say that the B&B where we stayed—Poipu Plantation Resort —was excellent, and the staff very gracious. Full breakfast with fresh papayas and guava juice. Mahalo!

Many thanks to the "Hula clan", especially to my mom, Teresa, Amy, and Hanna, who not only hosted the event, but flew in from Minnesota (Amy) and Chicago (Hanna) just to say hello and watch me prance around in my T-shirt and hula skirt.
